This week, if you normally respond to the question, "how are you?" with "not too bad", try switching it out for "pretty darn good". Pay attention to how you feel when you say it, as well as to the reaction of others.
There is incredible power in words - their impact on your thoughts and on those around you. Think about someone who always says negative things. How do they make you feel? They take you down with them, right? Do you do that sometimes? We all do!
