LeadUp Coaching and Consulting Inc. is owned by Glenda Ball and was started in 2011. "Lead-Up" is defined as something that prepares the way for something else. With this in mind, Glenda Ball partners with leaders and their teams to create focused solutions that support their vision of the future. She helps them develop valuable skills, perspectives and practices to prepare for the future they envision.


About Glenda Ball


Glenda Ball is passionate about coaching and facilitation, as well as personal accountability and continuous learning. She has a proven ability to collaborate with leaders and their teams as they work to communicate effectively, become more cohesive as a team, and develop valuable leadership skills. Through her experience and studies, Glenda has learned to co-create solutions with her clients and help them apply proven and practical solutions with an objective and focused approach. By combining a strategic mix of leadership learning and one-to-one or group coaching, she guides her clients through the necessary steps required to reach their short and long term goals.


Glenda is a Certified Professional Coach specializing in the areas of Leadership, Management and Career Development. She is also a Facilitator of Everything DiSC programs, The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team, and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Finally, Glenda is a Strategic HR Advisor to small and mid-sized businesses.  


Glenda believes that leadership is not specific to a role - that every person should take on the role of self-leadership. It is through self-leadership that we show up at our best and are able to impact the teams and organizations we work with. How can our organizational cultures change if we don't work on our own leadership attitudes, beliefs, and skills first? Glenda is able to support the development of leadership cultures through coaching, team development and HR strategy.


Glenda's professional experience spans just over twenty years, including ten years in mid and senior HR management roles. She has held diverse and progressive positions based in Canada and the US and has extensive experience in employee relations, corporate communications, training and development, change management, organizational development, client management, corporate administration, and strategic and business planning. She continues to learn through every client commitment as well as through her continuing professional development. Glenda is currently completing the Master of Arts in Leadership program through Royal Roads University.
